About Burnham Thorpe

Lord Nelson was born in Burnham Thorpe in 1758 and, even though he was a sickly child, he went out to sea at only 13 years old. There is a small collection of beautiful paintings depicting ships and the sea. Lord Nelson’s home can also be seen in the ship valve on the wall. And don’t miss the fancy tobacco boxes made of all kinds of material.

This small room has a pleasant atmosphere and is perfect for smaller groups in boardroom arrangement, or a creative meeting to sit around the table and brainstorm ideas.
