What makes Victory Hotel unique?
Victory Hotel is a family-owned boutique hotel inspired by maritime history, located in the heart of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s historic Old Town. Named after the legendary warship HMS Victory, Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar, the hotel celebrates the spirit of seafaring history and exploration. The interiors feature an extensive collection of ship models, maritime antiques and historical artifacts displayed throughout the building. All rooms are named after Swedish naval captains, with interiors inspired by the ships they once commanded.
Victory Hotel is part of The Collector’s Hotels, a family-owned collection of boutique hotels in Gamla Stan that also includes Lady Hamilton Hotel and Lord Nelson Hotel, all located within a short walking distance of each other.

Yes, the hotel is home to Leijontornet, a wine-focused restaurant and wine bar created by chef Daniel Crespi. The restaurant is a destination for food and wine lovers, known for its extensive wine list with over a hundred wines served by the glass and a cellar featuring more than 3,000 different labels. Seasonal tasting menus as well as a la carte menu are also offered.
From mid-May to September, Leijontornet takes a seasonal break. During this period, we instead welcome our guests to our courtyard summer restaurant Vingården – an oasis in the heart of Stockholm where you can enjoy food and wine while dining under the open sky.
Weather is never an issue – the retractable cabriolet roof and heaters ensure a comfortable setting regardless of the weather.
At Vingården we serve food worthy of any Southern European piazza, with a wine-calibrated à la carte menu featuring beautiful vegetables, seafood, fish and generous cuts of dry-aged meat.
